Well, I am certainly not a wildlife photographer, but I did go on a little 1 hr safari yesterday with my family at a place called Lion Counrty Safari here in S FL. It was pricey, but if you live locally, you should do it once. The drive through safari allows you to get VERY close to the animals and you feel like you have stepped into the Discovery Channel! For those of you who are interested in photography, these images were all shot through the closed car window with my 18-55mm lens and not cropped at all....yes, we really were THIS close! It was terrific, and for just an hour, I WAS a wildlife photographer!

- This blog cronicals the recent events of me, April, owner and photographer of CoConut CirCle. First and foremost a wife and mother of 3 children, photography allows me to express my creative side, work in a field that I am passionate about, and capture the magic in each moment, while still maintaining a schedule that works for my beautiful family. It is truly a win-win and I am blessed to be able to work with my amazing clients. My photographic style is casual and relaxed. I believe that the best images are moments captured rather that moments created, and I can't wait to capture the beautiful moments in your life.

Inta in Action
This is my friend Inta. She is a terrific, talented photographer and her company is called Inta G Photography. She, her daughter, a friend and I met this AM at City Place so that I could take some pictures of her daughter, who is town for the holidays, and her together....having a photo of you WITH your children is a rare thing when you ARE the photographer! While doing that (those pics to come in a later post) I snapped these images of Inta in action. She is a natural on both sides of the camera and I am blessed to call her friend.

Kenimer's Christmas Card Shoot
For those of you who don't know, this is my very best friend, Holly, and her beautiful family. Hubby, Wayne, is a seasoned professional firefighter, so they wanted to do a fire-themed holiday card this year. I have to say, this was one of my all-time favorite family shoots. It was magical. Everything came together....the weather, the truck, the outfits, the children's enthusiasm...it was perfect! Holly's holiday card was met with rave reviews and some of these images are bound for her livingroom wall! I really love these pictures...hope you do too.

Jen & Jason Hogan 12/19/10
This is a quick sneak peek of Jennifer and Jason's special day last weekend. It was a fabulaous day from start to finish and their love was palpable to all who attended. Many more images to come in the weeks to follow, but I know they were dying to see a little something to wet their appetite! Thanks to the happy couple for letting me be a special part of their special day.

Baby Bradley
This is Bradley...the little, 9 month old cutie-pie I photographed this morning. He wanted no part of sitting still! He was on the move constantly! He kept Mom, Dad, Granny and I busy with his draling antics. It was an honor to photograph him, as his Granny is someone very special to me and my children. Enjoy this Sneak Peek of little Bradley.
